A group of ladies and I escaped to Jacksonville, Texas the other day to tour a basket factory there. Of course we has a blast and saw some amazing things.
Believe it or not, I didn't purchase a single basket.....sigh!!
Afterwards we ate lunch at Sylvia Mae's Soul Food restaurant which was featured on Texas Country Reporter awhile back. Needless to say, the food was delicious. To top it all off, we did a bit of antique shopping. Again, I didn't see anything I really wanted.
I was happy to get away from the house situation which is slowly coming along, thank goodness. I'm sure I'll have more to share about that another time.
