If you are a "non-responder or OpenID-er" which to me means I have no way of responding to a comment that you've left, please leave a way for me to get in touch with you, especially if you're participating in a blog give-away or if you are asking for information or links.
By leaving your email within your comment, I can find you. I realize that this is sometimes a scary thing to do with scams and all but if you disguise the email as say.....

this is the perfect way to hide from the unwanted eye. So please help me out if you are one of the non-responders.
Thank you, in advance.....Ravelly Rhonda!!

ABC's

Hi everyone. I've been off the blog scene for awhile. Lots of family stuff going on but I have managed to find something new to get into.
I saw this amazing pattern from Michelle Ridgway's blog. The pattern can be found on her Sidebar and on one of her Pages as well.  I immediately contacted Michelle, who lives in Australia, BTW, and she was gracious enough to tell me to order here in the US to save on the old pocketbook.
I thanked her and popped over to Crazy Quilt Girl Fabric Shop to place my order. A few days later the pattern came and I started stitching a couple of days later.
I decided that I was going to enlarge some of the letters just to make things interesting when I'll have to stitch everything together down the road.  Remind me then if I start wondering "What was I thinking!"
I found a wonderful fabric at my LQS and am using #839 DMC Floss.

Monday, Monday

It's Design Wall Monday which, these days I really enjoy because just knowing that Monday is coming makes me want to get in some sort of sewing. Pop over to Judy's to see what others are doing.

I'm making progress with the hand embroidery.
I've gotten the blocks together & decided it still needed something so I'm adding more vines & leaves. This will take a bit more time but will be well worth it.
I'm loving this look. Notice the markings for the vines.....I'm using that FriXion Pilot pen which when ironed, it disappears.

From My Garden-BOW

Grapes are next up.

I added a little squiggly vine to my block.

To spice up your baked chicken recipe, add a cup of red grapes to the mix and bake as you usually do. The slightly tart taste of the grapes lends a richer flavor to the chicken.

;-}

Don't count the days, make the days count!
