If you are a "non-responder or OpenID-er" which to me means I have no way of responding to a comment that you've left, please leave a way for me to get in touch with you, especially if you're participating in a blog give-away or if you are asking for information or links.
By leaving your email within your comment, I can find you. I realize that this is sometimes a scary thing to do with scams and all but if you disguise the email as say.....
me at yahoo dot com
this is the perfect way to hide from the unwanted eye. So please help me out if you are one of the non-responders.
Thank you, in advance.....Ravelly Rhonda!!

Memorial Day Honors

Memorial Day, which occurs the last Monday in May, is designed to remember our
fallen men and women from the various wars and battles, past and present.
Some take the chance to also salute the men and women
 who survived.
These men survived the various wars. The first three have since passed away but lead fruitful lives. The top right and bottom right are my dad and granddad.  The bottom left is a cousin who lives in another state.

Labor Day Weekend Hiatus

Grover Cleveland Video — History.com#presidential-fun-facts
My family and I are about to observe Labor Day, which pays tribute to the contributions and achievement of all American workers. Labor Day was created by the labor movement in the 19th century by President Grover Cleveland and became a federal holiday in 1894. So, I'll be out of pocket, as will most of you, eating, visiting with family, laughing, eating, watching football, looking through the old photo album, eating....oh, I already mentioned eating.....LOL
If you are into traditions of old.....here's one that everyone over 40 will remember......After Labor Day, it is not in good taste to wear white until spring.
The above link is a very short video of presidential facts.....Enjoy the video and have a great long weekend!

A Wacky Christmas Dinner

This is the restaurant we celebrated our annual Christmas dinner.
This year, we went with no fuss, no gift exchanges, just plenty of laughs and good food.
Most of us met at Jerri's house for drinks and a snack before dinner...LOL.....Jerri's hubby took this picture where we all hid behind a chair.......LOL
And here's the whole group with big smiles and very full tummies.
Here's wishing everyone a Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays!
