Greetings everyone. Of course I've been MIA for quite some time.....at least it seems that way.
It seems I've not finished or started anything with thread in this new year....and why is that, you may ask???
Well, I've been busily writing a play for my local community center for our upcoming Black History program in February.
I know you are probably thinking..."What in the world!!!!!"
Well, when I caught school years ago, I wrote plays for my students all the time: a Christmas play; an Egyptian history play; how students see teachers play.....well you get the picture. So, I'm in the middle of writing, rewriting and rehearsals.
Hopefully I'll get back to sewing one of these days. Keep your fingers crossed.

Congratulations! I am sure it will be delightful.
I auditioned for a play last night. The local Community Theatre is doing "Arsenic and Old Lace." I love the movie so I couldn't resist auditioning for one of the minor roles.
How fun for you!! And you reveal yet another talent.
xx, Carol
Oh, this sounds like fun for us in the future. Now you will take picture for us won't you. I so enjoyed viewing Gene's pictures of the play he was in last year. Good luck with the writing, hoping the story rolls easily off your pen.
I don't know if that even makes sense but it ran through my mind,so I put it down, so much for my writing skills. How many commas can you put in one sentence?
Wow - that is awesome!!!
How wonderful! Fun to find out things about you and knowing you share your talents with the community and it's people. Hope you share pic of the play.
It's always fun to read your blog - you are a very talented lady - in more ways than one. Good luck with the play - ;))
Another talent!! Can't imagine writing a play - good for you!
I totally believe there is nothing you can't do. So many amazing talents.
How wonderful! I wish that I lived in your area, so that I could come watch your play. Enjoy your "play time"!
your talents have no end.....
I'll bet it will be a great play! Wish I could come see it. Writing takes time and patience. Sewing will wait.
