Wackies on the move on the "Hot Flash" tour. Melissa Picha, owner of the Compass Center in Mt. Calm, TX organized a wonderful 4 day event. Sunday.......we arrived around 5ish, unloaded our cars and got set up. Melissa passed out our special shirst, which you see in the pic and our mystery clue page1 plus the fabrics. Monday there was a flurry of ironing, cutting, measuring, etc., etc., etc. of fabircs.
Dark and early Tuesday morning (4:30ish)........we all started to awaken, do our morning rituals, surprisingly nobody got in anyone elses way......lol.......ate breakfast....those who wanted to.....and then we loaded onto the bus and alway we went.
This was my first time shop hopping and I had a blast. We traveled to Cabbage Rose, Quilters Stash, Quilt Country, The Old Craft Store and Suzy's Quilt Shop.
On to a lovely dinner and the grant ending.......drum roll please................................................."Menopause.......The Musical"
I have to tell you, I have never laughed so much or so hard in my life. If you haven't seen this, you need to, girlfriends!
