DWM-BOW

Remember to pop over to Judy's to see what others are up to on this wonderful Design Wall Monday.

Gone Fishin' block #2
I used a couple of fabrics that have been sitting around and needed a home in a quilt....LOL
The fins and body of the fish are said fabrics. I really love the look of this fish.
Remember, you can enlarge or shrink the free design that I'm providing below.

Free design from me!!

Block #1 from last week - now I have two.

A quick give away.......
By leaving a comment, you are in the "hat" for five 10" squares are my favorite, what I call, landscape/texture fabrics. These types of fabrics are great with making barns, scenery, fish or whatever else you can come up with. And if you are participating with the fish venture, these fabrics will really help. But anyone can win.
Take a look at the five squares....
These first 2 reminded me of fish scales.

The lighter brownish cream, I've used as tree bark and shading. The darker brown, I've used as stems on fruit and dying leaves on a fall project.

This piece is one of my favorites. I used it to make one of the catfish that you will see in a few weeks.
So these are up for grabs!

Wow! I love these. You must go on fabric shopping trips often. I have nothing like this in my stash! :)

Oh I like the fish. Somehow I missed last weeks fish. Will go back to look for it. With my surgery I wasn't very active online.

Once again you have hit on something I can use. Our BIL had a stroke (3 little ones really) and has just learned that his wife, DH's sister, has cancer. He used to be an avid fisherman and I think these fish will be a great birthday gift for him. Thanks, again.

These are great fabrics, now that you have explained how to use them. I wouldn't have seen them that way at the store!
