By leaving your email within your comment, I can find you. I realize that this is sometimes a scary thing to do with scams and all but if you disguise the email as say.....

this is the perfect way to hide from the unwanted eye. So please help me out if you are one of the non-responders.

Junk Journaling Again

Here I go again. Hi everyone. Please allow me to practice on you all with my first attempt to video one of my latest junk journals. I am not good with the direction of turning the journal the correct way. Please use kind words with your critiques. And thanks in advance.

A Little Mojo In Me & A New Favorite Song

I haven’t been sewing anything lately so my quilting sisters kept encouraging me to try. I made up my mind to jump in the game with both feet. We are making samplers with different sized blocks or whatever works for the individual.

I'm doing a Wood Duck:

I need to add a little something but have a mind block for the moment.....LOL!

Now for the song (Eclectic Me)........I love some commercials and saw the one where the kid was under the table eating the whole dish of dessert. The song that went with it is from Chuck Barry. The song makes me happy so I'm sharing it with you all. Enjoy!

OMG!!! It's October Already?!

Hi everyone! I've been missing in action for some time now. Don't ask what I've been up to cause, really, I haven't been doing much of anything except avoiding TV as much as possible.  Of course Mr. Cowboy has suggested that I cook more lunch, dinner and snacks during the hay season. I assured him that I'm doing my best in that department....hehehehehehe

Eclectic Me is still around though. Here's my absolute favorite  police lip-sync video.  I'll tell you why I love it so after the video.

I hope you got some giggles from watching. I liked that there wasn't "one" theme song for the whole video and each department was showcased doing what they liked. My favorite part was the K-9 unit performing to "I Believe I Can Fly." I laugh when that comes on every time.

This delicious salad was the last of my "summer" salads.  Mr. Cowboy certainly enjoyed it.

While walking around in my backyard, I spotted this...(top view)

It's a mushroom. My imagination was immediately thrown back to my childhood when tiny people lived under mushrooms.  Anybody remember those times?

Grandma's lilies gloomed for the final time until next year. I love looking that this amazing process.

Finally, my Cousin Thelma gave me a pinch off her Four O'clock bush about two months ago. I've babied my little portion and finally go it rooted.  Love it!!!!!

What's everyone been up to these days? I'd love to hear about it. And hopefully I'll post more often.
Take care and be care!

Cousin Clark and Eclectic Me

This is my Cousin Clark. As you can see, he is taking the Covid-19 situation "very" seriously as we all are but he has taken it to another level.  This is what he looks like when we go for groceries.
I'm not kidding. At first I thought he was one of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. You remember then, right?
The other day we went out to town and OMG, did he get the looks. My other cousin V. and I couldn't understand a word he was saying because of all the protection his mouth was behind......hehehehehehehehe
All the children at the store were beside themselves with giggles and wide-eyed amazement. I can't wait to see what he wears the next time we go into town.  Stay tuned for that one.

As I've told everyone before, I've been planted in front of the TV for weeks....well, after Mr. Cowboy leaves for the day......shhhhhhhhhhh!
Now I hooked on an old TV show from 2011, "Body of Proof"starring Dana Delany
Here's a song that I like but has nothing to do with me life with Mr. Cowboy. I just like the tune.
This is Ingrid Michaelson singing Maybe.

And here another one from Death Cab for Cutie entitled I Will Follow You Into the Dark

I know I'm strange y'all but that's just the way I am.
What are you listening to these days or watching? I'd love to know I'm not the only one "trapped on my sofa".........hehehehehehe
Until next time. Stay safe everyone!!!

Eclectic Me

Here's an inspiring song to our doctors, nurses, EMTs, military and anyone else that I've not named who are on the front lines working to us.
I salute you and pray for your safety.
Take care.
And remember, we are strong TOGETHER!!!

Eclectic Me

Greetings All!
I'm back with another look into me world.
First, I hope everyone is safe and well wherever you are. This Covid-19 thing is nothing to play around with.
Mr. Cowboy and I are "hunkered" down (this is a Texas term) in place with plenty of food, games and honey-dos' to take care of.

Eclectic Me #3 - Here's a wonderful song by a great performer - Gregory Porter. Take a listen and enjoy.

My Soul is Conflicted

On January 1, 2020, I lost mom. It was quick but not unexpected. It hurts my heart but I know she is in a better place.
I told a cousin the other day that I knew her for 64 years (a private joke) and it will take a very long time to process it all.  I do have peace in my life through God, Jesus Christ & the Holy Spirit. And through my pain He is glorified.
I had pre-posted Eclectic Me and will try to keep that going. Please know that I appreciate your comments but am unable to respond for some reason but will do within my posts.  Thanks to Gene, A Left-Handed Quilter, Guilitta and Barb for your comments. You all lightened my heart.
Keep my in your prayers!

Eclectic Me

Hi everyone. Hopefully, I'm back posting but not yet any sewing.  I've decided, in this new year of 2020, to open up a bit about me.
I thought about titling it "Just When You Thought You Knew Me," or "No! What?" but settled on Eclectic Me which shows my diversity and complexity.

Eclectic Me #1 - Words
I love words and my favorite and number one is the Word of God.
God has been right there with me through my mom's situation; right there with me day to day.

Eclectic Me #2   Favorite Christmas Song

Until next time........Eclectic Me in 2020.

;-}

Don't count the days, make the days count!
