Hello everyone and Happy New Year!

When I was little, I never thought about ten, thirty, fifty years in the future, did you? And now, it's 2026!!!! Goodness me.

I've missed you all so much. What have I been up to in the past two or three years???
Well for one thing, I've been researching my family history, going through my mom's old photos, asking some of my cousins about the "old days."  This has taken quite some time and when I looked up.....time has flown by.
I found this photo in a friend's stash. The lady with the white tie/black vest is my grandmother. You can image I screamed loudly when I recognized her. My granddad is in the photo as well along with one of my great uncles. This was such a fantastic find and I was very grateful to get a copy.
Family history wasn't the only thing I got into.....JUNK Journaling was another thing I got hooked on. What is junk journaling, you ask?  I'll link just a few of my favorites for you:

I could go on and on but I don't want you to get hooked too!!!

Here are a few projects that I've completed for 2025:

This was made from one manilla folder as a base and loads of fun papers. This reminds me that I will need to show you all of my "tools" later.

Sorry this project is out of order. I couldn't seem to upload the photos correctly.
I really loved this project because it tells a story, Landlady & all.  I found that front door at Hobby Lobby!

These are most of my hidden paper clips designs.

This is the front/back of cards made from manilla folders.

And finally, this was a project using index cards.

Ok, that's all for now. I hope everyone's new year goes well!

I hope your new year is going well also.
I love finding bits of family history. I was surprised that I could find your grandmother simply by looking at her face. There is certainly a family resemblance.
