My New Pot

I know, I know this sounds a bit crazy but...... I love cooking and am always looking for different things to cook with. This little pot is heavy and I love the feel of it. It will be great to cook rice, oak meal, veggies, heat soups.....well you get the picture.

Here are a few pics of my new pot.

Notice the bottom of my new pot. It is made to heat up quickly and hold the heat, as well.

Look at the top to my new pot.......love it!!!!!

Ok, this is the last pic of my new pot. I'll have to cook something to show off my new pot very soon. Thanks for be patient with my somewhat boring post......wink!!

I understand. Years ago, I bought a rather expensive set of cookware that has the thick heavy bottoms. They are wonderful to cook in. Good tools are essential regardless of what you are doing.

I, too, get excited when I find the "right" pots and believe me I feel your joy.

I have a set of pots with bottoms like that and I love them. OKAY, I'm OCD. I HATE if the outside and bottoms are not kept looking brand new. Mr. Clean Erasers are my answer for that.

I love it when I get such a great utilitarian item! Those even heat bottoms are so wonderful.

I LOVE your new pot!! And I totally understand. A couple of months ago I got a two-piece set of cast-iron dutch ovens (4 qt & 7 qt). They live on top of my stove because they're so heavy - but they're also VERY pretty and I like looking at them - LOL - ;))

Not boring at all! Getting something new, particularly when it's a tool you know you will use a lot, is always exciting. I just got a new iron and I know how you feel!
