Mr. Cowboy decided he needed some blades for cutting hay. He ask if I wanted to tag along. Not thinking clearly, I said, "Sure, why not." Several hours later...& several stops later...sigh. Of course I forgot my Kindle and any hand work I could have done but Mr. Cowboy kept me in stitches so all was not lost.
Now for the most exciting part, Mr. Cowboy pulled the name for the FQ..& the winner is A Left-handed Quilter. Congratulations to you.
If you've made it this far on this post, I'm giving away another FQ, you can see it below. Isn't it pretty? All you need to do is leave a comment to participate. Good luck!!

Yay! I'm so glad you decided to add the tree! And the birds are a perfect balance I think. And sometimes you just have to go along on expeditions for things like hay blades - think of it as bonding time.
Oh, that's a beautiful FQ! Thanks for a chance! I'm so glad you kept the tree. That cowboy has a good eye! Your trip made me smile. How often I was in that same position! But the time spent together is worth a little boredom with the stops. =)
Your mini is looking beautiful Rhonda. I am glad you kept the tree and added the birds. I have gone on several "trips" with hubby,so I know what they are like. I try to look at my surroundings to find something interesting to look at. That way, I don't get so bored and he has someone to talk to.
Love the fabric. Thank you for the chance.
Love the mini! And the FQ too!
THANK YOU!! And thank Mr. Cowboy for pulling my name for the FQ - it really is pretty!! I'm glad you kept him company on his trip for hay blades - and that he kept you in stitches - sounds like you had fun. Your moose looks good with the tree - the birds add that little "extra" touch. - ;))
cute fat quarter, thanks for the chance
Your Mini is beautiful. I love the way you are gone with it.
Greeting Guilitta
The tree adds just the right touch. Lookin good!!
Mr. Cowboy has some great ideas. Think you should keep him for awhile!
Yes! The tree is perfect and of course the birds are happy to be there too! Congrats to LHQ for the win. And thanks for another giveaway. But most of all, thank you for continuing to blog.
xx, Carol
Oh, and thank Mr. Cowboy too. What a guy. Tell him I said so.
It's obvious that Cowboy has good taste. I love the addition of the tree. The birds keep the eyes moving, too. You are very talented. You have some beautiful fat quarters. I remember the days of just taking drives to take drives. Of course, I lived with a controller who did not like for me to cross stitch in the car. He thought I had to look at the scenery and change the CDs the second one finished. Geez! Of course, I cross stitched in the car and tried to comment on scenery from time to time just to appease him. we each came from very abusive backgrounds and he learned about mine and I didn't learn much about his until about the time he left me and our children when they were in high school. I wish they could have been lovely adventures instead of opportunites to control. Then I lost my second husband almost five years ago. Now, when I see couples who are truly happy together, I want to tell them to make the most of these days for some day one of them will not have the other. I'm glad that you enjoyed your time with Cowboy. That makes me happy. God bless you.
