There's no machine sewing going on around here so I got on Amazon & found two great hand embroidery books. Plus I couldn't resist purchasing some new DMC floss. Surely I can get something done. Is anyone else having trouble getting into the mood for new or old projects. Let me hear from you.

I’ve had slumps. Just have to do something creative and it will spark your interest!
You may have noticed the dearth of creative projects other than food on my blog.... I am blaming spring fever - caused by the strange weather here in Alabama.
The embroidered garden is in my Wish List. Let me know how you like it. I have that slow stitching boro patched jacket to work on. When some issues clear out of my world I have a lot of things on my mind to work on. Idle hands are sad hands for me so I must keep them and my mind busy.

I haven't been doing much of anything lately either. Just can't seem to get started although I have lots that I want to do. I think it may just be the weather ---or the month of February.
I usually have a period of creative sloth in either January or February but this year I seem to have avoided it...not sure why. Could be because I'm doing barns right now and they're still new and fresh in my mind.
