Help Me Celebrate

Greetings Everyone!!
I was looking over my blog the other day and discovered that I'm 9 post shy of 1600 posts. OMG! I can't believe it. I've been blogging since 2007 & through many ups and downs in my farm-girl live, I've enjoyed every minute of getting to know many of my fellow bloggers.
So I decided to do a count down & some give-aways to build up to the number 1600.  I'm giving away a fat quart (the winner choses the color) each post until 1600. All you need to do to participate is to leave a comment and in said comment mention your favorite color starting with this post. I'll gladly send to my international friends as well.
Now, onto my next Veteran s quilt.
I made this HST quilt last year & it just sat on a shelf collecting dust bunnies.
I'll be placing a close up of an eagle at the top. I really like it so far but I'll need to add more details.
Stay tuned for more FQ give aways toward my 1600 posts!
Finally, here's one of my grandbabies. I can't believe they were able to snap a photo with the hat still on her head. She's a firecracker!!!

Congratulations! 1600 is quite an accomplishment. My favorite color right now is orange. It makes me happy.

The eagle has very arresting eyes - looking forward to seeing him in his entirety (of course, 'he' could very well be a 'she'!!!). Congrats on the approaching blogging milestone.
Favourite colour for me has to be blue!

I love the hat on the darling grandbaby. Yes, how did they get that photo???

Congratulations on nearly reaching that milestone. It has been a joy following you. One of my favorite memories is of you chasing that snake.

At the moment, I would say yellow, but it may change in a minute.

Good Morning!
That little grand child is adorable. She looks like she is trying to keep that hat on to have the picture taken. What a doll!

1600 posts..that's a lot of talking and show and telling. I love my visits here. Your quilting and sharing bits of you day are a perfect mix and pretty darned interesting.

I like every color in fabrics but white. Though white is necessary for sure, it's pretty boring, don't you think?
xx, Carol

I think your HST quilt is understated and that makes it appealing. The eagle idea is perfect.

My favorite color is turquoise.

HI Rhonda, I do enjoy your blog, sorry I haven't commented before. That eagle is fearsome!! Lately my favorite color is teal because it's so variable. I am kind of digging it.

Your eagle is really something. You really have an artistic way with fabric. I am trying to get back into blogging but I do so little these days I frequently have nothing to say. HA! My favorite color is orange.

She's definitely a little cutie! I like that quilt and look forward to seeing an eagle on it. The last one was so beautiful!
