Prayers and Another Border

I have been praying for my fellow Texan down south. I live more toward central Texas so we've only gotten around 10" of rain over the course of several days.
We've spoken to several relatives who are weathering the rainstorm. They are in good spirits & dry for the time being.
The photo isn't great but I've placed a border on this quilt top. It's one of my donation quilts.
I decided to embroider these praying hands on a t-towel for our church's fellowship hall. It really feels good to be getting in some sort of sewing!

WOW that is a nice donation quilt. I can see that you put a lot of work into it.
I love it when I can use my embroidery machine for something like that.

The quilt IS a very nice donation. I especially LOVE the Bison block. Is it appliqued? I couldn't enlarge the picture to see it better. The praying hands embroidery is a perfect idea. My grandson's girlfriend's most recent home is in Victoria. She is here with us now and we have been watching the reports closely. Luckily the person caring for her dog is out of harm's way. Her truck is at the Houston airport and most likely a loss. Thank God she is here with us. These floods have been hard to watch and the damage is unimaginable.
xx, Carol

Amazing donation quilt - will it be for flood relief in Houston? Very glad to know that you are safe where you are.

Wonderful donation quilt! The praying hands will be inspiring to all who see or use the towel. Thanks for saying you are safe at your house. I was wondering.
