I don't know what's wrong with me these days but sewing is the last thing on my mind. It's not like me one bit. Even mom is a little concerned but I'm just not interested. The other day Mr. Cowboy and I were near our pond. He was cutting a hay field so I wondered off to a nearby tributary to a creek and videoed the following. I could have listened it that for hours.
I suppose I'm reflecting about my life and family or I'm just being lazy. Whatever, I'm enjoying these wonderful July days. Remarkable, the temperature is about 88 degrees. Unheard of in Texas in July.

It sounds like a perfect July.
Some days that happens to the best of us. It is okay to take a few days off from sewing and feed your soul.
I have some CDs of nature sounds 9no music allowed) that always relax me. My favorite is a thunderstorm. It helps me sleep when insomnia strikes. We don't all have a babbling brook nearby. Sigh.
Oh, yes, I can see how you'd want to find a comfortable spot and just sit a good long while with that peace and quiet! Creativity, like other endeavors, needs a resting time, a fallow time. You're just soaking up what you need and one day an idea will pop into your head, and off you'll go again. Enjoy the break!
