"Lovely View" is the title for this mini. It measures 13" X 10 1/2"
Here's how I developed the piece. The idea came from a clipart photo. I have loads of great landscaping fabrics from England Designs. So this was the perfect time to use a few.
I love picking and choosing fabrics. Some will not make the cut but it's fun to fondle them look at the them.
I found the perfect sky fabric.
Next, I added the layers of mountain ranges.
Finally, I cut into my birch fabric and stood back to get a good look. As I've said many times, taking photos of each step or as many as one can remember to take, helps when changes are needed.

OK I really want to mke some art quilts. So you choose your base such as a sjy and ground? Then everything else gets fusible on the back nad topstitched down? You are pushing me girl! Keep showing your stuff!
