Greetings all. I hope that if you celebrated Christmas, you had a great time with family and friends. And I hope you have a Happy New Year beginning in a couple of days.
I've been busy with my latest mini.
It was hard to come up with a name for this one but I finally settled on "Courageous."
Sorry about the blurry image on this first photo. I'm sure it was the camera not the operator......hehehehe
Tiny scissors are a must when working with small pieces.
I have several scraps of shades of gray which made a big difference with the feathers.
I've had the Red/White/Blue badge for a couple of years in my adhesive fabric stash....which means I made it from strips but didn't press it down to anything at the time. Finally, it came into play on this piece.
"Courage" measures 10 1/2" by 17."

Very nice, Rhonda. I have some Betty Buckley scissors that I use for small pieces...they make a world of difference for me.
I love it!
Rhonda, I kept scrolling down the page trying to figure out what you were up to. It's beautiful! Is there a pattern you could point me to for both the eagle and the emblem? Would love to make one to put with my grandson's (KIA) picture.
That is fabulous. Happy new year to you!
Love it! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
I'm with Margie...I would love a pattern for both as well - perfect for my Army daughter! You did a fabulous job on this!!!
I am not american and not a patriot but it is great!
I wish you a happy new year.
Greeting Guilitta
Lovely! That must have taken hours and hours of time. Well worth it, too.
