Green is my favorite color. When I visit quilt shops, green fabric is what I head for. I have so much in my stash now that I decided to make a quick quilt.
Here's the kite shape on my foundation.
If you know me, you know where I'm headed with this project.
Here's the first side. I decided to use a brown strip & grayish triangle to break up all the green strips.
All blocks done measuring 12 1/2" sq.
Loving what I see on this green fractured diamond top. Now I need to think about borders.
Yes that's my foot in the way but I'm happy with extending the inner diamond into this first border.
I saw a cicada that had just emerged from his beetle shell. It took about twenty minutes to dry his wings before he could fly off.
This photo does not do it justice.

I really love this design (as with the others you've made). Extending the diamonds into the borders is a great idea.
Lookin good!!!!
Lovely quilt and green is my favorite too. I also just love nature.
Your quilt is going to be wonderful. Love the darker fabric in there. It really makes the diamond pattern stand out!
Green is my favorite color, too. You just can't have too much. But in case you do I am available to take it off your hands. LOL
Beautiful quilt.
I was going to leave a comment on your post about making pickles, but I had to hurry the other day. True story. My mom use to make pickles. One day she had a hugh container of cucumbers ready to start. My sister-in-law (City born and raised) asked her what she was going to do with all the cucumbers. When mom said she was going to make pickles, my sister-in-law looked really funny. She said she didn't know pickles were made from cucumbers. Duh!
Green's my favorite, too, so I don't understand why I have more blues. I'm blaming the American Hero quilts. =) I love this design. Gorgeous quilt. How big is that? Your foot looks so tiny!
