Mug Rug Thursday

Can you believe that it's already September? Wow, this summer is zipping by quickly.  I have been so lazy these few days after doing a lot of canning, baling hay and other farm stuff....I've worn myself out. All I want to do is read and sleep. I haven't even been motivated to blog and that's a big surprise to me. I love blogging....I must have a fever....LOL
The temperature has been divine. Here where I live in central-ish Texas, we have yet to reach 100 degree weather and I doubt we will at this point. This is a first in quite some time.
Enough chit chat.
The Random Picker number is Five!
Congratulations to Jacque! As usual, just leave a comment so that we can communicate via email.

The next mug rug is a teapot. This is made from one of my machine embroidery designs.
I'll announce a winner on September 18th. Leave a comment to be counted.

I remember when we moved to Central Texas it was 106 and I asked my husband if he really wanted to move there. Now this summer I don't believe it has gotten above 97

Congratulations to Jacque. It has been super duper hot where I live at...in the high 90's and high humidity all the time here in South Carolina. The 2 combined doesn't make summer a lot of fun...

Congratulations to Jacque.

We've really had delightful summer weather too. It's nice for a change, isn't it?

The machine embroidery is perfect for mug rugs. Very cute.

That is one pretty teapot!!!

We have had a milder summer also, but I'm not complaining because my WE Energies bill has been below average too :)

We didn't go over 98 this summer or last. But that 98 came a couple of weeks ago when our AC went out. I'm OK with fans but DH was miserable and cranky. And, I want this teapot mug rug as it would go beautifully with the teapots I made from your BOM (still can't find the one pot I lost). I will be finishing that quilt after the first of the year.

Congratulations to Jacque!
The teapot is so pretty--very elegant! Thank you so much for the chance to win it.
After all the work you have been doing, it is time you got a chance to rest. I know farm work is hard and a never-ending thing. I grew up on a farm. I can remember how hard my parents worked. So it is wonderful when you get some time to yourself.
Our weather hasn't been extremely hot, but there is high humidity and that makes it feel hotter. It is very miserable outside.

Congrats to Jacque!
Living in Canada, we will never see 100 degrees. But it's September 5th and we still have hot hazy and humid like in mid-July. That's amazing for us.
Lovely little teapot. Would love a chance to win.
One last thing. You OWN a break after all that canning and farm works. Enjoy it.

We have had lots of high 90's and low 100's but not as bad as some years. We desperately need rain! Hope your September is beautiful and restful.

Tea and scones would be a perfect gathering!

Love the teapot! So elegant looking. The heat hasn't been too awful, but the humidity has been TERRIBLE all summer and I can't stand it. It looks like temperatures are starting to go down, so maybe there won't be 90%+ humidity every night, too. dezertsuz at gmail

Love the teapot. I have a nice collection of teapots and tea cups and saucers. The weather in Georgia has been hot and humid; more than in the past. I'm so glad we have a/c.

Glad to see you back. Love the teapot. Does the hat have room for one more?

Really cute teapot. Our summer has been cooler than normal, but just when school started 2 weeks ago, it has gotten hot. Thanks for the chance to win.

I just signed up for your posts to my email. Looking forward to all the wonderful things you do. I absolutely love the pictures on the right side of your blog. Family history is something we don't spend enough time learning or hearing about.
