I finally decided to put my Leafing Through the Year in the frame & began hand quilting. Close your mouths! Laugh out loud! Yes, I'm actually hand quilting this on. Hopefully it'll be finish by May but don't hold me to that!
I used a FriXion Pilot pen to mark the quilt in a cross-hatch design. Surely I can keep most of my meager hand quilting skills on the line.

I learned a little bit about hand quilting from the Gees Bend Quilters. I don' think I could quilt an entire quilt that way.
I know it will be stunning Rhonda
Oh....I am gonna hold you to it...oh yes I will!!!

You've got a great start. When I saw the post on Bloglovin' - I thought - she's back to quilting! Hurrah! I know we all have other things in life and I really enjoy your quilting posts. Good luck - you'll make it. I'll enjoy seeing your progress.
I love the Frixion pens. I recently found retractable ones that can use refills!
It certainly looks good so far! I love cross-hatching. It makes a quilt so pretty, I think.
