I'm placing fish in no certain order in the space provided on this panel which is roughly 44 inches by 48 inches.
I've placed the pebble fabric and lake weeds at the bottom just to see what it will look like before placing the two catfish there.
I've taken a photo of the placement so far but will possibly change things around before I'm happy with the whole thing.
No sewing or pressing has taken place and it will be a couple of weeks before I make up my mind fully. I've noticed that my dead log needs something.....maybe some moss....hummmmm!
As you know I added moss in a previous post.
I think I really like what I see so next week I'll be pressing and stitching....YEA!

How beautiful...it looks so real...
Wow! It looks great! Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
Oh, Rhonda, this is just glorious. I feel like I could just drop a line in and spend the afternoon fishing. You are a true artist.
Beautiful! Some day when I have time I will be making all of your fish! I have all the patterns saved on my computer just waiting on me...oh and some fabric!
I showed this to my son. Now don't laugh, only a man would thing of this. He said you need a hook with broken line on it caught in the swamp grass to represent the one that got loose...made me laugh, hope it made you laugh too. This has gone from a piece of faded fabric to an entire story. We are baking here in 95 degree temps so I feel like jumping in your lake with the fish!
The individual components are cute (your fabrics are TO DIE FOR) - together they make a heck of a nice montage ... and it isn't even done yet! I think I see a snail on the moss ... maybe? :D
I like it to. It looks beautiful! You are a great designer!!
