I'm working on a Quilts of Valor that Marjorie is hosting, and am making progress. There's a "GO" challenge but I'm just doing a quilt.
Found this quick design "Crazy Nine Patch" .... love it because it's a quick, strip piecing type project.
My PFAFF was smoking through the 12 blocks.
Each block finished at 19 inches..... I know that's a weird measurement but remember who you are dealing with...... LOL
For some reason I decided to do piano keys... OMG, it's taking longer to make those than the whole quilt.... LOL
Please note: I used only fabrics from my stash!!

Looks good to me. I like that block a lot.
It is looking good. For piano keys, I always sew several long strips into units and then subdivide those and sew again.
Awesome!! You know it is still pretty geometric!!! LOL What a great valor quilt!
Love the abstract look! Great way to use stash and scraps!
I love this. I have sseen several different QOV tyhis week ,I really need to do one.! Love the fact it is from the STASH! Would you share that pattern with me? Or where can I purchase it, IJustlike it! Have a great day and hope Mom is still doing well. Hugs, Marie
The Crazy Nine-patch quilt top is looking wonderful, I love the geometry of it - the look also reminds me of the quilts of Gees Bend - I was lucky enough to see an exhibition of these awesome pieces a few years ago, and this one has the same feel - I'm sure the receipient will just love this!!!!
I am so glad that you joined and I do hope you win the Go baby!!!
