Well, as you can see, I haven't gotten very far. Mom's minimal back surgery went well and I've been watching over her so very little time for sewing these days.
I did get to stitch around two critters. I used stitches that looked prickly and generally would make your skin crawl...... LOL.... I know, what am I thinking.
Fresh Carrot Recipe
If you love carrots then this is a great recipe for you.

Your crazy critters applique look very interesting!! There is a lot of work in them as I can see when I enlarge the image! Very clever stitch choices!!!
The insects are really coming to life. Great job!
Wish I could send you some pictures of the awful grasshoppers that grow here in florida. They are yellow and blue and scare the dickens out of me. Your embroidery looks so good I had to click on it to see if it was made by your embroidery machine.
What a fantastic job you did on those critters.....you just love making our skin crawl.
Hope your mom is recovering well.
You take care of your mama. Those critters are really great.
Wonderful critters. You continue to amaze with your special techniques and visual word images! I love carrots cooked that way.
ICK! (on the bugs), carrots sound yummy, LOVE carrots, and hope your Mom is doing well....
