My "wacky" girlfriends and I visited yet another great quilt show in Waco, Texas a few days ago. Kathy had entered a few quilts of her own, so we enjoyed viewing her work as well as so other talented quilters.
This lovely quilt greeted us on arrival. I love the mono-chromatic theme coupled with the wonderful floral vine.
This is a great "sampler" quilt.
These types of little girl dress quilts are very popular these days.
This was a stunning quilt quilt with excellent quilting.
Great use of Civil War fabrics.
This trio was very interesting. They were made to slip over your sofa cushions to add a little something of a holiday or season. The cushion or pillow just slips through and is visible with the ends sticking out. Hope that made sense because it a great concept.
There are many more pictures that I would love to share with me but I feed them to you slowly so that you don't get too bored. ;-}

The quilts are so pretty. I've saw several of the quilts with dresses, I am curious as to how the dresses are dimensional.
I love the sampler quilt and the color wheel on black quilt.
Thanks for sharing.
I do get the concept of the cushion sleeves.
Gosh...some really great quilts there. (Maybe when folks have to stay inside to avoid snakes they get more creative? LOL) I've seen those pillow cover things and believe I might even have a pattern for them in my stack of patterns (which I really need to sort and get rid of ones I'm not going to use soon).
Great quilts!! Thanks for sharing, NEVER get bored!!
