The other week I posted about the craziness of the English language. Below is another sample of our wonderful way with words.
6. A bass fish was painted on the head of the bass drum.
7. When shot at, the dove dove into the bushes.
8. Bob didn't object to the object.
9. They were too close to the door to close it.
10. After a number of injections, his jaw became number.

I've always heard that the English language is the hardest language to learn, because so many of the same words have different meanings!
