I looked high and I looked low. I searched under bushes, under my little shed, across the fence, inside the water hose containers, around the mailbox and even inside the water meter........do you know what I found???? Not Mr. Snake........oh nnoooooooooooo!.............I found several spiders big enough to take down a new born calf............I giant moth with those fluttering WINGS and those feather like antennas....................several black beetles with the hard outer shells and six prickly legs that attach themselves to ones clothing........How do I know this little known fact, you might ask.................well......don't....... Where was I.......oh yea, a couple of yellow-jacket nests..............a few million ants............did I mention that I have several species in my yard................but I digress.................a lizard, who scared me to death when he bolted from underneath a rock.......can you say heart-attack.
The hummers were mad at me for disturbing their feeding frenzy....the tiny little demons actually dive bombed me.......I mean really!
The mail lady gave me some curious looks........I think it was the shotgun that got her attention.........I say that because she sped off in a cloud of dust right after noticing that I was packin' heat..........my neighbor's dog ran under his house.......I haven't seen him since then.....................BUT........I saw hide nor hair of Mr. Snake..............so he lives to see another day................but....... I'll be watching and waiting.

You crack me up Rhonda! If that was me, you would find me sitting in the Uhaul while the DH loaded my sewing stuff. Would be heading to another state away from Mr. Snake!
Too bad your hunting expedition was not successful. Maybe tomorrow will be the day to bring home a trophy. I don't know, can a snake be stuffed and hung on the wall?
I see a snake pattern quilt in your future!!!
I am wondering if he was hiding underneath that grate where you are standing??? I bet he was down there looking up through that grate and laughing his snakey A** off!!! (Do snakes even have A**ES????? LOL)
You are just killing me....too funny for words...
Better you than me. It has been a while since I have seen one & for that I am thankful.
You are too funny!! The Science Teacher in you is definately showing! I LOVE it! Hope you find that snake soon!
Why didn't you shoot the spiders? Spiders are just as disgusting as snakes.
Too funny. I would not be sleeping well at night with the thought of that guy in my yard. Hope you find it.
I drove over a snake today and thought of you.
What a lot of wildlife! This did make me laugh, thank you!

Did Mama take those pics? Or I guess you set up the Tripod! You are just C-R-A-Z-Y.
This is to funny Mrs. L. What's manning doing while you're snake hunting? Armando would be long gone after seeing one of those spiders, maybe we shouldn't tell him about them. good luck finding that pesky reptile.
