I am totally diagonally challenged but when I saw this particular quilt design.....I was compelled to try it.
From McCall's Quilting -Our 100th Issue
the quilt is titled "Promenade."
I made substitution of greens(my favorite color) in place of blues then started cutting all those 2 1/2" squares......about 900 of them.....whew!
So far so good but I really have to keep the diagram in front of me.........if you know me, you know I don't like to do that.
I don't know what I'll do for a border at this time but something will present itself.

Love your choice of fabrics...will be well worth all the square cutting:)
Gosh. I love that quilt from the magazine and earmarked it. I've made a trip around the world, but never a Boston Commons. I'm starting to look like a big copy cat!!! LOL Haven't started this one yet, but it's on my list!
That will be gorgeous!!!! What a quilt!
Oh, Rhonda! I have made this quilt several times, The second one was THE blanket I made when expecting our 30 year old daughter, and the first one was made from, ready for this, double knit slacks-! You make me want to dig those out!
I like your colors, red, of course!
Really you'll enjoy it.
