Late Night Snack

This is going to sound strange but one of my favorite late nite snacks is a bowl of vanilla ice cream sprinkled with Fritos. The salty/sweet flavor is soooooo good! Everyone thinks I'm a bit crazy but what can I say, I love it!!!
Mr. Cowboy was skeptical but one night I tricked him into tasting the combo and now he's a fan.

What’s your favorite nighttime snack? I'd love to hear from you.

That DOES sound good! I love sweet/salty - and will have to try it. My current favorite is Orange (sherbet) with Vanilla Swirl - like the old-fashioned 50/50 Orange cremesicles - only is a gallon tub - YUM! - ;))

Totally get the picture. I would enjoy this right along with you but hadn't thought of it before. My favorite is vanilla ice cream softened up a bit and stir in cocoa. It's a soft ice cream with chocolate to perfection. the next is orange soda with a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream added. As in root beer float. Although i haven't turned down any ice cream unless it's coffee flavor.

That sounds good to me, but not for my blood sugar. I like vanilla ice cream with salted peanuts, so it makes sense.

I'm not a huge ice cream fan, but the crunchy, salty addition does sound tempting.

I tried your combo and Oh my goodness is that snacky perfection. I drizzled a little caramel on top of the fritos.

I also love vanilla ice cream with chopped mango and sweet thai chili sauce drizzled with crushed peanuts on top. Yum!
