If you are a "non-responder or OpenID-er" which to me means I have no way of responding to a comment that you've left, please leave a way for me to get in touch with you, especially if you're participating in a blog give-away or if you are asking for information or links.
By leaving your email within your comment, I can find you. I realize that this is sometimes a scary thing to do with scams and all but if you disguise the email as say.....

this is the perfect way to hide from the unwanted eye. So please help me out if you are one of the non-responders.
Thank you, in advance.....Ravelly Rhonda!!

A Little Field Trip

A group of ladies and I escaped to Jacksonville, Texas the other day to tour a basket factory there. Of course we has a blast and saw some amazing things.

Believe it or not, I didn't purchase a single basket.....sigh!!
Afterwards we ate lunch at Sylvia Mae's Soul Food restaurant which was featured on Texas Country Reporter awhile back.  Needless to say, the food was delicious. To top it all off, we did a bit of antique shopping. Again, I didn't see anything I really wanted.
I was happy to get away from the house situation which is slowly coming along, thank goodness.  I'm sure I'll have more to share about that another time.
Hope everyone has a great weekend!!!

A couple of times recently I have seen a class to "make your own basket." So far I have managed to be busy and unable to attend.

Sounds like such a fun time. I actually took a basket class once but can't remember a thing. We have a town here Jefferson, Texas....it is great for antiquing and has an old general store, brings back such fond memories.

It's always fun to see how things are made. I would have enjoyed that day, and I don't even have house issues!

Don't count the days, make the days count!
