More Tangent

I made another soaring eagle using brown tones.

On to the next one. I love making the beaks & eyes. The little details are so important.
Hummmmm. It needs something more.
I like this much better. I'll need to add a tiny white dot in the eye later!!

Your eagles are always so amazing!! And it's that tiny white dot that makes all the difference in the world between an eye and a "realistic" eye - ;))

Those details are what elevates your work above many other makers of applique quilts.

Your work is amazing. I love eagles. Maybe that's because I have an Eagle Scout who is now 41 years young. A few years ago a man who has since moved gave a lesson to our class at church about the virtues of the eagle. It was very, very interesting. Thank you for sharing your detailed work with us.
