Still Deciding

As I'm pressing some fat quarters.....
I've still not found just the right background for my elephant but looking is part of the fun, don't you think?!

Here's one of my new favorite fabrics. It's a Moda "Watercolor." I have no clue what I'll do with it.
Then there's this one. It's a Stonehenge - Prehistoric. Love it!!
What's on your ironing surface?

So much creative possibility in those two fabrics - gorgeous. For some reason I 'see' your elephant with a tree - something that you would see in his/her native land - perhaps with a yellow/orange-y background to signify the temperatures of his home.

Yes, looking and auditioning should be part of the fun - but why is it more fun to shop for the perfect fabric for a quilt rather than finding it in your stash? Or is that just me?

I like those two fabrics too and had to really keep myself from buying them without a purpose in mind. I like that elephant with a Serengeti sunset background. He is great.
