Favorite Fabric Monday

A few years ago, I was really, I mean really into "all thinks chicken." So much so, I was dubbed ChickenLady. Above is one of my favorite chicken fabrics. I have no idea who produced it. No labeling on the sides......someone cut that off............I do have 1 yard of it and would love to know who produced it and what colors I should use to compliment it. One of these days I will get around to putting something together. This would be a perfect time to use my EQ6 skills.....LOL The idea to post about favorite fabrics comes from my good friend Belinda. She is very creative so make sure you pop over and take a look at her blog.

I don't know who made it sorry but you could use all different colours to compliment it. Try picking up the colours in that gorgeous rooster or some of the other chickens.

Love the fabric as I too have some like it that came from the Red Rooster Shop somewhere in Washington State I think as It was in a secret pal swap I did a couple of years ago on the quilting forum.I too have been the Chicken Lady as my whole kitchen was in roosters and chickens athe time. She sent me a small amount of that to use as binding on the large piece that was printed as to be place mats.I will see if I can find some of it in my stash. I would choose something from the rooster such as redish gold it would be so pretty. Have a great day. Hugs, Marie

My cousin likes "all things chicken" too. She would like that fabric as well.

That is funny--I have some chicken material that I am going to make a lap quilt out of.. the chickens actually grow on you.
