Maybe....I Don't

Maybe....I don't need to buy anymore fat quarters for a long time. Recently, I was looking for one of my favorite quilting magazines when I ran across several bags. I decided to open them....and what do you think I found....................fat quarters! Lots and lots of FQ's.......so many that I jammed them in with the rest of my stash so that no one would notice. What am I saying.....I live alone...thank goodness. LOL Okay, so that I wouldn't notice....hhhhheeeeee

I've decided that maybe I'd better use these up before I buy more. What do you think? Let me hear from you.

Fun Secret Pal Gift

I recently received wonderful gift at a retreat. Fat quarters were artfully wrapped around a skewer using florist wire then several were placed in a vase half fulled with marbles for stability. Neat...uh.

Just A Little Trivia

Eat slowly Wackies! It takes about 20 minutes for your brain to realize that you've eaten enough food to be satisfied. If you chow down too quickly, you are likely to overeat. I know you all really wanted to hear that one.....LOL

Anyway, I had a blast, the ladies were very friendly and helpful and of course, I spent and spent and spent. Sulphur Springs

Last weekend was a blast....again. Patty, Kathy, Annie and I went to Sulphur Springs, TX for the fourth time. It was their annual "Stew" cook-off and quilt show...amoung other things. Our booth was fun and jammed with quilts and fabric. Put the festival on your calander for next year...... September is the time to look it up.

I have these 9 very good friends Whose prayers have aided me greatly. I don't think I'd make it without them... My 9 very good friends. It doesn't rhyme very well, but it's from my heart.

Answered Prayers

If anyone has noticed, I've been absent from blogging lately. My stepfather has been very ill and has been hospitilized for nearly 10 days. My mom, of course, was beside herself with worry. I went up to Dallas to spend some time with her and lend support where needed. The other day Bob wasn't doing so well, highly sedated, heart problems, among other things. Mom said that just once she'd wanted to see him awake and sitting up in bed. We prayed about it. The next day Bob was taken off sedation and began to wake up. Within 12 hours, the breathing tube was removed and by Sunday he was sitting up and was able to recognize my mom. I immediately told her that our prayers were answered. That what she prayed for had happened. Prayers do get answered. Keep praying everyone.
