Mug Rug Give Away & Other Stuff

Here's the first Mug Rug give-away for 2013 from yours truly.
It's my version of a cozy log cabin in the woods. I love making these little quilts from unusual fabrics.
Anyone can participate for a chance to win it. All you need to do is leave a comment expressing that you want "in the hats" for the log cabin.

Here's, also, a reminder of the  "A Is for Aardvark" 6 1/2" squares give-away for those who are participating in the hand embroidery alphabet quilt project, shown below.  Just leave a comment about the squares on THIS LINK to be counted!!

Finally, I've made little to no progress on my shoes blocks but have several ideas thanks to you all out there in blogger-land. So stay tuned.

  1. Cute log cabin. Is there any particular reason the chimney is red? Sorry I'm no help with the shoes. I'm not a shoe person. Beautiful though they may be, they just make my feet hurt : {

  4. I want "in the hats" for your latest mug rug. I know I have won before but I had to put the Halloween and Turkey ones away for next year so I need another Rhonda mug rug: my table is bare. ;-)

  10. I'd love to be in the hat for the log cabin mug rug drawing. I think the red chimney is so clever, a nod towards the red center of a traditional log cabin block
