Tis
Tis the day before Christmas and all throughout my house you see
All kinds of things going on like cooking for three..........the boys and one wife. LOL Just alittle Christmas humor.
I won't have the traditional turkey and dressing...had that at Thanksgiving. I decided a few years ago to go with a good rump roast, turnip greens, candied yams, apple/walnut salad and hot rolls. For dessert........hot, right out of the over chocolate brownies topped with vanilla ice cream. He boys just love it.
The year is almost over and I can't believe it. What have I accomplished this year, you might ask? Well let's see.
1. I made 7 quilt tops this year
2. I participated in 2 quilt shows
3. I lectured 3 quilt guild meetings
4. I completely reorganized my sewing studio and I love it
By the way, did I mention that I'm goin' on a crusie in February with 7 of my "wacky" friends......so 5. I've got just about all the things I need for the trip but I'm sure that I'll think of something else before we go.
The Wackies had a great Christmas party which I'm sure I mentioned in a previous blog. To see how much fun we had visit http://wackypac.blogspot.com/
Here's another wonderful site to visit. It's got some great sales goin' on:
http://www.fabricfanatics.com
Check it out and maybe walk away with some neat fabrics for your stashes.
Well, I want to say before I turn out the light,
Merry Christmas ya'll and have a great night!
