My Other Habit

I can't believe that it's the end of May already. Where was I during all of it?! Not sewing anything, that's for sure. But it's hay season......again, so I've been busy making lunches for the guys and running around gathering baling stuff. I did get started on my latest watercolor project. I'll need to paint in the sky and do a bit more work on that pitiful tree. The bluejay is a little on the heavy side but I like him, I think.
How's your end of May going?

  1. I'm with you in finding it hard to believe that it's the end of May already. It seems that as I get older the time is flying by faster and faster. I like your blue jay!

  2. My "end of May" was a bit different, but nothing to blog about. I have seen Blue Jays that are 'fat' like the one in your painting. I hope you show us the finished version.

  3. HI
Can't seem to catchup on reading my blog roll but I sure didn't want to pass your post by without telling you how much I like your bird. May is gone and that 's a good thing up here in Northern Indiana. We jumped from winter to August weather plus rain. June has started out pretty well so I have been enjoying the sun and watching my frogs by the pond.
    xx, Carol
