It's A Start

I finally decided to put my Leafing Through the Year in the frame & began hand quilting. Close your mouths! Laugh out loud! Yes, I'm actually hand quilting this on. Hopefully it'll be finish by May but don't hold me to that!
I used a FriXion Pilot pen to mark the quilt in a cross-hatch design. Surely I can keep most of my meager hand quilting skills on the line.

  1. I learned a little bit about hand quilting from the Gees Bend Quilters. I don' think I could quilt an entire quilt that way.

It certainly looks good so far! I love cross-hatching. It makes a quilt so pretty, I think.
