I've had my barns in the back of my mind for about a month. What to do, what to do??
My first thought was this......
My first thought was this......
But when I stood back, I thought, "Not it!"
On to the next arrangement.......
With this one I was thinking of scattering the barns in more of a
random order but still, "Not feeling it!"
What to do, what to do.......
The filler blocks were too dark so I decided to lighten the fillers.
I had, in the back of my mind, fences in the filler blocks, all along.
BINGO!
So I am off and running with the idea. Sorry about the fuzzy photo below
but I am loving this look and will stick with it.
What are your thoughts?? I'd love to hear from you.
I like the finishing the fences idea.
ReplyDeleteI love the fences Rhonda!
ReplyDeleteThe fences look great!
ReplyDeleteOh the fences are perfect! Can't wait to see more.
ReplyDeleteNow that is a great way to not let yourself be fenced in to the easy way.
ReplyDeleteThe fences are a great idea! I love your barns.
ReplyDeleteOh yes..the filler blocks with fencing are the way to go!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely perfect idea. And you are the one who can do it. Great!
ReplyDeleteLove the fences. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.
ReplyDeleteI love you final arrangement! I don't think I would have come up with that but it is perfect. I am in the process of making barns and I am regretting that I had not started with the same background. I actually have only one made and none of the others cut out, so it is not too late.
ReplyDeleteI like the first layout but it's not my quilt. Loving the fence filler blocks. Maybe add a cow or chicken to a couple of them. Better yet, Buzzard Bait!
