I've pieced another string together, again using the elongated block (7 1/2 by 10 1/2). The two focal points being dark and light diamonds. Once I'd sewn all the blocks together, I thought maybe I should have done something near the center light diamonds....oh well. That will have to wait for the next string. I'll add a border or two in the near future. So far the measurements are 42 1/2 by 62 1/2-ish.
That is looking great! I love it without borders....I will be waiting to see what it looks like with borders on it.
