Trellis Roses

One of my Black/White challenges is put together. Just today, I finished this baby. As you can see, I went with #2. I had to make twelve more blocks because I didn't want a square quilt. I found the rose fabric when Jerri and I were in San Antonio the other month.
BTW this one measures 54" x 74" without borders. I don't know if I'll do borders. I kind of like it this way......opinions please.

  1. I love your B&W. My motto in quilting is do what you like. I think it looks great. If you do not want to add a border just frame it with black binding. I don't always put borders on my quilts. That's what I like about quilting, you can make it any way you want.

  5. It is beautiful without borders, so if it is the size you need, just put on a binding.

  6. I would put borders on it. Maybe a braided one. I would want this quilt to be big enuf to fit on the bed for everyone to see.

Oh wow it is stunning. I always add a little border. Are you keeping this one?
