our leaves in Northern Indiana are changiing to yellow and maybe brown and dropping. My Sugar Maple should be brilliant red....not even a hint. There sure are a lot of leaves on the ground to clean up though. xx, Carol
Halloween for us (live in an apartment building) is pretty much a non-entity. Kids are not allowed to go door to door here so many of us contribute 'goodies' to a communal shelling out in our lobby. The kids from the three buildings all come to our building for their treats.
Our fall was so weird! The colors were all off, not the usual vibrancy, though there was some in a few places. It's rained a ton. It's been cold, then warmed up to 60 again, like today. The leaves have fallen off the poplars, but new leaves are growing on my gerbera daisy stems! Tennessee is way mixed up this year. LOL Your fall color looks gorgeous! That mushroom is so interesting. I don't eat mushrooms, but I've seen some very unusual ones over the years.

I like finding curious looking mushrooms also. There have been some interesting ones at my mother's house this fall.
