Mini Wednesday

So, I'll still here but doing very little sewing. However, I am getting some time in the old sewing room.
Again, I was surfing the Net the other day and ran across an interesting clip-art of the earth. The following is my interpretation of said clip-art.

I chose one of my favorite green fabrics to do the greenery.

A brown for the trunk and branches of the tree was next.

I have been waiting to use this blue fabric for some time and this project was perfect for it.

Now for the really fun part; cutting out, placing and moving things around.

Things are looking good. Can you spot and recognize the land masses?

I added land for the tree to rest upon. And once again, I have not stitched or quilted yet. Maybe after the Fourth of July things will settle down when family goes back home and I have time to myself.
