Mini Wednesday

"Lovely View" is the title for this mini. It measures 13" X 10 1/2"
Here's how I developed the piece. The idea came from a clipart photo. I have loads of great landscaping fabrics from England Designs. So this was the perfect time to use a few.
I love picking and choosing fabrics. Some will not make the cut but it's fun to fondle them look at the them.

I found the perfect sky fabric.

Next, I added the layers of mountain ranges.

Finally, I cut into my birch fabric and stood back to get a good look. As I've said many times, taking photos of each step or as many as one can remember to take, helps when changes are needed.
