I can't believe that June is almost gone. We're having unusual rain here in central Texas. Yesterday, in a matter of three hours we got 2 1/2 inches of rain. My garden loved it.
Speaking of gardens, I've already picked my first batch of cukes (AKA - cucumbers) & made 9 pints & 2 quarts of sweet pickles.
Now for drawing for the birdhouse.
The winner is
Chantal!!
Congratulations to you. Just leave a comment so we can talk.
The next mug rug in the give away is "froggy".
Leave a comment to be counted.
I'll announce a winner July 10th.

Yum, they look delicious.
ReplyDeleteSweet pickles are my favorite pickles. Here in Alabama we have a brand called Wickles. They are sweet and spicy hot. I would love to learn to make those.
ReplyDeleteLove sweet pickle relish. Yours look great. Congrats to Chantal.
ReplyDeleteI love to make "bread & butter pickles". Really good on a sandwich.
ReplyDeleteI would love to win "froggy". There is a young special needs woman in my Church that collects frogs. I would like to win so I can give it to her.
I remember how great those pickles are!!! YUM!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Chantal. I LOVE your new frog one. The pebble fabric is perfect for the design.
Yum, yum! I love sweet pickles. My friend use to make the best and the best relish.
ReplyDeleteWe have been getting a lot of rain here in Georgia. A lot of thunderstorms too. I don't mind the thunder so much, but I hate the lightning.
Congratulations to Chantal and thanks for the chance to win "froggy". He is so adorable.
Don't you just love seeing all the jars lined up. I think it's a happy sight no matter it pickles, beans, carrots or tomatoes to name a few that I have done in the past.
ReplyDeleteLove sweet pickles. They are so pretty in the jars. We are getting a hard rain right now here in eastern Iowa. Just what we don't need. The Mississipi River is out of it's banks already and the smaller rivers are almost out. The frog is really cute. Thanks for the chance to win.

ReplyDeleteCongratulations to the lucky Chantal! All that rain was welcome, I know. We had a downpour here this afternoon, but that's not all that unusual! Your pickles look delish! I need to make some, but I've been feeling SO lazy!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to Chantal. Mmm I love sweet pickles. They look delicious. I wish there was a way to share weather. We need it desperately and other parts of the country are getting too much. I'm not sure froggy will like how dry it is here but he is welcome.
ReplyDeleteYour frog looks great. You are a good designer. Wish you a good time.
