Using "Cambridge Common" by Design Concepts for Gee Spirit (I think I have that right) as my backdrop, I then pulled several black & white fabric combos along with 2 red type fabric to make this quick quilt. It measures 8 1/2" for each block; 2" on the red border; 3" on the piano-key border. So roughly at this point it's 40" square. This is the second quilt I've made using this method. This LINK shows the same quilt but in a totally different color scheme. What a difference!!!
LOVE IT!!
ReplyDeleteWow...very nice but it doesn't look quick OR easy...looks very intricate and complicated!!!
ReplyDeleteStunning. It really is gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteYa know... sewing hurts my eyes (and my hands) as it is -- but if I was to try to put THAT together I think I might go altogether BLIND! LOL!
ReplyDeleteRhonda - your friend with the tree closet CRACKED ME UP!!! Ohhhhhhhhh how I WISH I had a closet I could do that with!!! ROFL!!!
That is fantastic. Where did you get the pattern for the block from?
ReplyDeleteLove and hugs Gina xxx
