I Can't Leave for a Minute...

This is what I drove up on the other day.  The guys were attempting to remove a 400 lb. thingy for Mr. Cowboy's dozer from the bed of his truck with the tractor fork.   Can you say eeeeeeeeeK!!
I could see crushed bodies when I closed my eyes.
They had tied the thingy with a heavy rope and were trying to back it out but I quickly suggested that they should drive the truck forward to remove it.  Sigh.........they listened to me and all went well.
Old thingy and new thingy.......every heavy indeed!!

Tracks off the dozer in order to place said heavy thingy where it belongs.

Close up.....look in the background to see where it's going.

Good grief!! Sooooo glad you got there when you did!! Dumb question - how did they get the heavy thingy in the bed of his truck in the first place? Or did whoever they got it from have the equipment they should have borrowed to unload it? - LOL - ;))

Hmmm...now I need to figure out what that "thingy" would be called. Maybe it is the "sprocket" of the track drive assembly. (I didn't know that I googled some images.)
I never thought about having to replace those parts.

Scary stuff! Guys so often don't stop and see the possible dangers to what they're doing so good thing they listened to you.
