Mini Wednesday

I know you can barely make out my tracings but trust me, it's a tree.

Here's a much better image of what I've been working on & I've placed it on muslin. All fabrics are from my stash which seems to grow by leaps and bounds.....sigh!!

I chose a sky fabric & decided on the placement.

I'm now building more background.
I'm attempting to building a sediment mountainous area but not sure of my rocky stop point.
Here I've changed the woodsy area & created a more mountainous appearance
I also added a small lake.
Tired of thinking about my back drop, I'm onto the bicycle parts. I figured it was easier to do the spokes & build from there.

I think it turned out great & so did Mr. Cowboy.
Working on my non-stick pressing mat makes placing the bike pieces easy.

The bike's all done, now it's time for the final placement.

I've named this one "On The Bike Trail." I roughly measures 20 1/2" by 21 1/2"
I am so happy with the way it turned out. What do you think?

Rhonda, this is one cool quilt. I especially love what you did with the rock layers, and the bike is wonderful. Love the water fabric, too.

I am so impressed with your tree. The whole piece is fabulous, though, and there's not a bit I don't love.
