Mini Wednesday - Help!

Look at this fantastic fabric. I found it deep in my stash bucket. So I'm immediately thinking another stain glass project.
The rose design would be perfect.

Got the rose assembled & placed just so. I'm liking what I see.
Green oval works well.
Trimmed & ready for a background auditions.

Aha?
Hummm?
Eeeeep!!
I'm confused, like totally!
Obviously I need your help. Any suggestions??

I like the one under the word Aha. The rich "wood" provides a nice contrast to the background of the rose. It also plays well with the green oval.
It also really pops on the black that you used to show it "ready for auditions"

I like the rose, and I really like it on the black. Like Gene Black said, it really Pops, and I notice the rose, not the background.

I like it on the Hmmmm (dark brown).

I prefer the Aha brick. It allows the rose to stand without only seeing red, the dimensions of the rose shows as well, while still complimenting the roses background fabric.

My first choice is the black. Was that a choice? Second choice would be the one above the word "Aha".
