Hay, Literally

Take a close look at the little ones.
The other day before 9" of rain pouring down, the babies (aka - calves) got a taste of hay. They were so funny to watch. They seemed to get a taste then want to spit it out but didn't know how to do that. After a time they gave up & laid down in it while their moms ate around them. Farm life's little moments are precious to me & Cowboy. Watching birds, going fishing, feeding the herd, bouncing around in the tractor; it's all pleasurable & peaceful to us.
I hope you have special or peaceful times as well.
