Boots, Vines & Broderie Perse

Boot block #5 was made with snake skin fabric. It's one of my favorites from my stash. Of course I don't remember where I purchased it and I only have a small amount left but it's perfect for this boot.

Hand embroidered vine and no Broderie Perse in this block. Again, you can add to each block if you wish.

I had a boyfriend with boots like that. He was from Texas of course!

Those would make some stylish boots in real life.

Looks great in that snakeskin fabric! The pictures are really tiny when I copy them, but I think I can put them in a word doc and make them bigger. Oh, I read the first one and it says 6.5" blocks, that makes a difference, too! I was thinking 12.5", so maybe I'll compromise on 9.5. =) I love your method of laying it down and tracing around it to get the embroidery area. Thanks for sharing your idea and designs!

Susan, I saved the image to my desktop and used the enlarge button to make it bigger. Then printed it to the size I wanted - a 9.5 also. Fun project. Thanks, Rhonda!
