Houston Quilt Show

My wacky girlfriends & I went to the quilt show in Houston. We opted for a tour bus adventure & were very pleased about the whole thing. There's so much construction going around the Center that it would have been a nightmare to find parking.
Here are a few of my favorite quilts. Enjoy!!
Some of the quilts where mixed media using fabric, thread & paint to get the results they wanted.
I purchased loads of thread but didn't take a photo of them.
Someone asked which Frival I chose last week. That's it above.

What a fun time. The bus sounds like a great way to attend.

Some of those quilts look more like photos than quilts. Stunning.

I hope you are staying dry.

I'd love to go to a quilt show. It would be easy enough to drive to the one in Chicago, but I have no friends that quilt and none of the local shops sponsor a bus. It definitely is on my list of things to do!

I love the two landscape quilts, the one with water and the one of the live oak tree.

Such gorgeous quilts! Thanks for sharing some of your favorites. That star is just awe-inspiring. I haven't been in decades, so it is nice to get a glimpse of what's going on there now.

So happy to see you post on my blog! I miss your little white cow. Maybe you need to make a mug rug with him on it! Any way, hope you and your family are well and have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
